Description
Like frogs, toads are creatures of land and water. They vary from most frogs since they have dry skin, moles, peaks behind the eyes, and parotoid organs. The parotoid organs produce a noxious emission that enables the frog to shield itself from predators. This substance, called a bufotoxin, can cause death in little creatures and hypersensitive responses in people. Toads have different approaches to abstain from being eaten as well.
