The hedgehog was named due to its peculiar foraging techniques. These creatures root through hedges and other undergrowth looking for the little animals that make the mass out of their diet-insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and snakes. As a hedgehog sifts through the hedges it radiates pig like snorts-in this manner, the hedgehog. A few people consider hedgehogs helpful pets since they go after numerous basic nursery bugs. While on the chase, they depend upon their faculties of hearing and smell in light of the fact that their visual perception is feeble.
